Sensing God’s call at the age of 15, Bill Gardner has been in the ministry for over 29 years. In that time he has served in both staff and senior pastor roles. He feels that his greatest calling is that of a pastor/teacher and enjoys studying and presenting the truths revealed in the Word of God. He also believes that the greatest influence that he, along with all believers, can have is to exemplify the life of Christ in all that we say and do.
Bro. Bill has been married to his wife Sherry for 16 wonderful years. In that time, God has blessed them in many ways, including the gift of their daughter, Sarah, who is now 15. Bro. Bill has served as pastor of Southside since December of 2007. Throughout his time here, the blessings of the Lord have been evident as the church has continued to grow in size, strength and unity.
